Crispy Vegetable Fritters

What you need?
  • 3 Boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Bowl Chopped Cabbage
  • 1 Bowl Chopped Carrots
  • 1 Bowl Chopped Onion
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger-garlic Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Schezwan Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Cumin Seeds
  • 25 ml Sunflower Oil (you can use any oil)

    For batter
  •  3 Cups Gram Flour
  •  1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
  •  1 Tablespoon Salt
  •  1/2 Tablespoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves
  • 50 ml Water

The Procedure
  1. Pour oil onto a pan and add the cumin seeds when the oil is moderately hot

  2. Add Chillies, Ginger-garlic paste, onions, potatoes, carrots and cabbage



  3. Stir them and add salt, turmeric powder and Schezwan Sauce. Mix well and then set aside to cool
  4. In the meantime, make the batter by mixing all the ingredients to make batter and whisk well to get a thick consistency

  5. Mix the vegetable mixture into the batter
  6. In a deep pan, pour in oil and heat it to be moderately hot
  7. Make balls or flat cakes of the veggie-batter mix and fry them until they are golden brown
  8. There you go, its done! Serve with Schezwan Sauce and some cabbage and carrot salad mixed with mayo!
